🕯️ Are your products handmade?

Yes! Every Old River product is handcrafted in small batches in Toronto, Ontario by our mother-daughter team. We pour, mix, and package everything with care to ensure quality and consistency.

🚚 How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders are processed within 3–5 business days and shipped from Toronto.
Once shipped, delivery typically takes:

  • 3–7 business days within Canada

  • 7–14 business days to the United States

You’ll receive tracking details by email once your package is on its way.

💜 Do you offer local pickup?

At this time, we don’t offer local pickup — but we’re working on it for the future! Stay tuned by subscribing to our newsletter or following us on social media for updates.

🌿 Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?

Most of our products are vegan-friendly and always cruelty-free. Our lip balms contain beeswax, but our candles, bath bombs, and diffusers are all plant-based and formulated with phthalate-free fragrance oils.

🧴 Do you use essential oils or fragrance oils?

We use high-quality fragrance oils in our candles and diffusers for better scent performance and safety. Some of our bath and body products include a blend of fragrance and essential oils for a balanced, natural aroma.

🕯️ Why does my candle look slightly different from the photo?

Each candle is hand-poured, so minor variations in texture or appearance are completely normal — and part of what makes every candle unique!

✨ How can I make my candle last longer?

  • Always trim your wooden wick to ⅛ inch before each burn.

  • Allow your candle to burn long enough to reach a full melt pool (edge to edge) before extinguishing.

  • Avoid drafts and burn for no more than 4 hours at a time.

Following these steps will help your candle burn evenly and last as long as possible.
